~ I have recently begun working with Portland Jazz Musicians like Thara Memory and Andre St James. After moving from the Delta a few years ago
I had stopped taking photos, feeling very homesick but discovering Portland's Jazz men and women has quickly rekindled
my passion for photography. Thara has been gracious enough to allow me to observe him with several of his projects like
his youth orchestra, Thara Memory's Superband and his work with Mel Brown's Band. I have just uploaded images from
Thara's first night back with Mel, Andre, Renato, Stan, Gordon, Derek and John (which was also election night!). Please
check back often as I will be uploading images from Superband soon! **If you are a NW Jazz musician and are interested in being apart of my Northwest Jazz Project, documenting your
performances, rehearsals and recording sessions, please contact me**
~ My exhibit at The Delta Blues
Museum has been extended a second time, now running through
the end of March, 2009! Thank you for such a great response to this exhibit, I am honored that so many have turned out for
the show, spurring the museum on to extending the run by a total of 7 months!
~ Brand new maternity photos for Davida
& Shawn! Davida showed her stained and fused glass art at Wandering Gypsy Soul Gallery
in December 2007, now she is due in late November. Davida & Shawn hired me to shoot them in my new photo studio,
